Does Mularkey run the WCO?
He's the same s**t we've been getting from Nolan/Sing, Falcons fans hate his ass, horribly conservative run-first offensive mentality (he's only succeeding cause he has Matt Ryan and an A+ o-line).
Did Steve mention Mularkey?
IMO, its okay to be 'conservative' and run first if you CAN ACTUALLY RUN THE BALL. If we could run as consistently as the Falcons do, I'd be all for being a run first team.

Most teams run the WCO, they just don't admit it. Steve said that 3rd and 2 play on the Saints / Falcons game that where Brees thre the TD was Bill Walsh's designed play! Steve said he use to always run that play.

Steve said he is ALWAYS willing to help. He says he can't be GM because it's like Dan Marino or Elway being GM so the answer is no. He says if they want his opinion, he will give 1000% effort to it because he WANTS the 49ers to be great.
LISTEN JED!!!

That's all it is. No one is saying we need he WCO Offense back, the only people that think that are simpletons. He's simply saying that there is an aggressive, pass-first, QB-centric philosophy there that we have simply ignored for 8 years.

I love what Steve is saying, but has he given us any examples of possible GMs and coaches from the WCO tree?
How is it possible the Yorks dont reach out to guys like him? I know I have heard on a number of occasions that Jerry would like to work with them, but nothing has ever happen. Is it egos for the Yorks?

But the way he says it, it is obvious the 49ers have not reached out to him...

Nevermind. The Governors on these new computers we have at work are cock-blocking every attempt to download the needed player.

I dont care if the guy just shows up and walks around the hallways. The Yorks should beg him for help.

No I do. Everything else I said was just my dream. Then I woke up.
Steve sounds like he knows exactly what hes talking about whenever I hear him talk on TV.

He's actually said that a ton of times. He thinks we have a huge advantage over the league by having all the tape and stuff from that era but it just sits locked up somewhere with those dusty old trophies.
Gotta agree it is a waste.
