Lowell Cohn's on Singletary firing

Whatta ya know?! Another Cohn article full of overly angry and overly emotional drivel. How can anyone get through a whole Cohn article? Some of his point are dead-on, sure. But he writes as if Sing used to bully him in high school.
Cohn is an idiot. Sure Sing deserved to be fired but the thing is Mike should have never been hired. Jed created this monster. I think Sing was victim of his own ignorance than anything. This whole thing has been fubar for a while. He should have never made Sing coach without us having a gm.

You should probably read the article again.
Singletary deserved to be fired, but not for arrogance. His 5-10 record was reason enough.

Cohn's joy at Sing's firing is clearly personal. His delight in kicking Sing when he is down and crapping all over Jed for being the son of wealthy NFL team owners only serves to show what a bitter, jealous, little man he is.

I understood the article, those were just my personal points. I'm not going against Cohn and what he said. He was right for 80% of his article, but I still feel he is an idiot. He just writes in a way that would never make me respect his opinion professional or personal.

Your concept of owners being held accountable interests me. How do you visualise this happening?
Remind me to never get on Cohn's bad side.

Fair enough.

i agree with Cohn. Great read.

I miss the days of Cohn and Ira Miller writing at the Chronicle---but now we get stuff online--so it's all good.
