The Yorks are not looking for the best. They will look for coaches that don't make them feel uncomfortable. Coaches that are experienced winners and have other options are not likely to end up on the Yorks wishlist. They want coaches that are grateful for the opportunity. The type orf coaches who are so grateful in fact that they will play along with Jed's fantasy camp where he plays a strong NFL executive that knows what he's doing. Oh and lets not forget Jed's good buddy Marathe. You think the Yorks are going to hire someone that would come in and wipe out any influence currently held by Marathe and push little Jed to the background?
Keep in mind that inside team head qtrs many of the decision makers (Yorks) seem to be oblivious to how bad this team has been for years.

It's Christmas Eve and you're being a negative nancy. I don't disagree that the Yorks haven't shown much poise in the realm of running the team to this point, but what say we wait just a few more days (hopefully more than less) to see what they do before going into "holy hell" mode.

Jason LaCanfora also reported on NFLN that multiple teams will be looking at the Giants DC Perry Fewell for a HC Job.

Their's no way they go defensive.
It doesn't matter if the HC is defensive of offensive minded as long as he has the right coordinators and listens to them. For those in doubt, it seems pretty clear that this organization is in need of a new coaching staff.
Maybe this article will help all of the people that are hopefful that we lose out because they think Sing will still be retained if they win out.

Cheer for your damn team and hope they win out. Sing will be gone regardless
So if somehow we sneak in at 7-9 AND Sing just somehow fluke wins one playoff game, Dinglberry stays??

Say it anit so!

The torture never stops.
I never cared that much for Kevin's articles either but it's hard to disagree with him.

You've also summed up why there is no GM. The Yorks can't pull the trigger on hiring someone outside the power structure to come in and make big changes because the team is THEIR COMPANY and they can't face the possibility that some loyal employees may need to go. That's why Eddie D. advocated big changes. A blind man can see the Yorks have no interest in running the franchise the way 31 teams do.

Gruden will be our coach in 2011.

McNabb will be our starting QB in 2011.

You can take that to the bank.

And when the 49ers are 2-3/1-4 in week 5, the fans will be calling for their heads.
