The point is that good teams (eg NE, Philly) overcome these things. Maybe not every game, but the majority of them.

We cant, so there's no point of blaming them on this one.

You hit the nail on the head, good TEAMS. We are not a good team and that is why we lose on a constant basis. Last night we shot ourselves in every way possible, on O,D, and ST. Although he (you know who I'm talking about) didn't have a great game, we as a whole suck from top to bottom. We literally can dump 20% of the current roster right now, that speaks volumes about the lack of talent we have.

Wouldn't of mattered. Rivers and Jackson did anything they wanted and our offense, well enough said.

Likewise, when Clements jumped to deflect the ball from Vincent Jackson, I swore I saw an official tickle Clements. The sideline judge also made a key block on the incoming safety to spring Jackson.

The one that killed me the most was on the 4th and 1. The fattest official took on two San Francisco linemen at the line of scrimmage, which freed up Siler to make the play.

That and the calls balance themselves out, it is rare if the bad calls are lopsided. Most people complaining about calls are biased and ignore the bad calls that came in their favor.

I see what you're doing MD but some of those calls were horrendous. They kill momentum, create frustration and ultimately lose focus for the players.

The official calls can't make Chilo Rachal block better, or Mike Singletary game plan better, or Mike Johnson put in a creative game plan, or allow Clements to break up the ball. Or provide Justin Smith enough brain cells to realize that you cannot push a ref.

Bad teams are bad teams. The refs don't make a team bad. The Niners kill themselves in new and fresh ways weekly.

Everyone is looking for excuses to excuse our team from their continual horrific performances. This scapegoating to make ourselves feel better is a poor psychological ploy. We are a bad team, pure and simple.

So what if we weren't going to win, a bad call is a bad call.

I don't understand why it's so hard for some people to admit that this team is super crap. There are horrible calls from the refs EVERY GAME. Only difference is that the good teams can overcome.

You have to really feel like a sore loser to blame the refs for the most horrible NFL Network game of the year.

Its not one or the other people, so get over yourselves.

We suck and the officials made it that much harder for us to be competitive. The ejection sucked all the wind out of us, and because we suck and are poorly coached, we could not recover. That's an indictment on the team AND the officials.

If we weren't such a crappy team, poorly coached, crappy ownership, then maybe we would get some calls like we did in the 80s an d 90s.

However, we are whale s**t in the NFL, and nobody cares.

When we actually put a team on the field that can beat their way out of a paper sack, then we will get some calls going our way.

The officials are the officials. Nobody was screaming in horror when SD was flagged during Reed's 1st period field goal. The refs weren't certainly evil at that point.

So, which call was the one that was most horrific and changed the game?
The Smith pylon could have gone either way. Smith pushed a ref. Walker grabbed a facemask.

The worst call was on Brown, but that was inconsequential in the game.

Yes we were!

The only bad calls were the Tarrel Brown hit at the sidelines and the Moran Norris facemask on the Ginn TD.

Other than that, the refs were legit.

The flag on SD was an obvious infraction. The call on Brown was easily the "worst call," though I can't speak to the facemask call because I couldn't see it clearly on my TV.

Obviously the ejection was the "most horrific" call that changed the game. Pretty clear.
