Is Crabtree Overrated ? | Page 46

I am beginning to think that Crabtree is overated and will never be the game changer we hoped he would become. He was all but invisible today, except for the 2 or 3 passes he dropped. Isn't he supposed to have great hands. He also doesn't have the speed required to get behind DBs or get open consistently. Maybe that's why he pulled up lame at the combine and didn't run. I am not calling him a bust, just overated.

Crabtree just needs a guy behind him to make him work. The 9ers should draft a WR in the 4th to compete...someone with speed and quickness. They should also look for FAs.

I can see Crabtree excelling in Harbaugh's system but only if the alternative is getting splinters.

he plays with lapses of concentration and his offseason work is minimal he is exactly like vernon pre singeltary kicked him out of game

Crabtree blows. It's not the QB when you run wrong routes, have that many drops, and are responsible for that many INTS.

LMAO, i'm not gonna say that, but to the latter stuff u wrote it's spot on. Not too mention with 2 diff QB's. A pocket passer, and a scrambler and have the same problem with both. And some of it could have been scheme, but that doest overlook the fact that he still didnt produce like he should be as a teams no 1 receiver.

For me the jury is still out. Lets give Crabtree the benefit of the doubt with a new coaching staff hopefully a Qb who can get him the ball(no not #11)and a preseason (fingers crossed) under his belt then we'll see.

actualy it doesnt make u a bad receiver to do that. thats fixable.. iv seen great receiver drop balls that turned into ints..i seen desean jackson do it this year.. thats not the point.. when hes targeted he does good.. NOW ALEX SMITH is garbage..and so is troy...and so is michael johnson

Crabtree needs to grow up and learn the words there is no I in team. When he does that, everything will fall in place for him.

I like Crabtree, he was getting too juiced when a ball was coming in his direction since it was a rare occurrence, which made him drop some balls.

I see this improving once our passing game is brought into modern ages.

However i don't know if he will ever be a great wide out,

hes got the type game to be a dominator slot guy.
