Mid season grades

Offense - F - You don't win in the NFL scoring 17 points a game.
Defense - D - Forget about the preseason talk of being a shutdown D.
Special teams - C+ - Ginn is the best return man we've had since.............
Coaching - Do we have to go there?
Yorks - No grade, they haven't done a thing in 8 long years.
Stadium - Incomplete - Drink some more York Kool-aid if you think there'll be a Stadium in 5 years.

A. Smith - D (not much to be saidm its obvious)
Gore - A (what more can he do?)
Crabtree - C (little less attitude, little more effort)
V. Davis - B- (injury plagued, blocking seems down from earlier in career)
Morgan - D (drops, p***y hands)
A. Davis - B- (for a 20 year old, hes exceeding my expectations as a rookie)
Iupati - B (cant complain for a rookie, this guy is gonna be good)
Staley - C- (was ready for a jump to a real LT, but seems like hes keeping the spot warm for davis)
Baas - A (playing out of position, playing great at center in my opinion)
Rachel - D (just awful, needs to be replaced)
Ginn - C (some good kick returns give him a passing grade, but really anything else?)
J. Smith - B+ (not exceeding my expectations, but right on par with his high level of play)
A. Franklin - D (what happened to the force he was bringing last year?)
Sopoaga - C (silently makes plays, but no big splashes)
McDonald - B (outplaying franklin and sop right now)
Clements - D (actually playing better in coverage than last year, but the fumble against Atlanta alone pulls his grade down)
Spencer - B (our best corner, quietly the best corner in the division)
T. Brown - F (i was expecting this guy to remove clements as the starter but has been garbage this year)
Goldson - D (like Brown, i was excited at his growth last season, but it seems to have halted)
Mays - B (rookie, playing well, still needs work)
Lawson - B+ (recent weeks have shown why he was a first round pick, after i was ready to cut him loose)
Haralson - C (just kinda there sucking against the run and decent against the pass)
Brooks - C (not making the impact in the pass rush he did last year)
LaBoy - C+ (surprising to me, but still not great)
Spikes - B (thought his age would bring him down, but after he came back from injury hes been solid)
Willis - C (yea, a C could be harsh, but these are based on my expectations, not overall, i was waiting for a def p.o.y. and hes been an above average middle linebacker, hes not been a game changer)
Bowman - C+ (has been picked on, but played pretty well for a rook)

not only is goldson absent in pass coverage, he cant tackle to save his life. he's been looking awfully roman like
