It concerns me that the 49ers appear to be using this trip as a PR move/vacation whereas Denver is taking it seriously, in and out, strictly business.
We also spent loads of money transporting our entire staff including the practice squad and a makeshift workout space whereas Denver is taking care of all that at home and leaving it there.
please explain
The niners have treated this just like any other week except its in london.
So please explain how you have come to that opinion of yours.
These guys are working against jet lag and it doesn't appear they are resting their feet. It could also affect the time players normally spend preparing "off the clock". They may not be full of energy by the end of the week.
You have traveled before and know how tiring it gets based on just not being home. Now add in practicing away from home and site-seeing. It's going to be an exhausting trip. Just normal vacations are tiring.

Mike Singletary gave players permission to visit the city during the time off, though that means a long bus ride from the English countryside where the team is staying until Friday.
Those players who brought their wives and kids also can spend time with their families. Players will have more time to see London when the team moves to a downtown hotel after practice Friday.
"Have to let them out," said Singletary, who has stayed at the hotel with the coaching staff and personnel chief Trent Baalke, working on the Broncos game plan since the team arrived Monday.
More than anything, Singletary hopes the players can get closer to each other with all this time spent overseas in a 1-6 season.
"You definitely get more guys hanging out together, just because you're in unknown territory, go out to eat, go shopping," linebacker Takeo Spikes said. "No one likes to be alone. You'd rather it be a woman beside you, but since you don't, I'll take my teammates."

That was on Tuesday which is the Players normal off day. This isnt for anytime they have off just the normal off day as usual
Yes but you know that being away from home is tiring on its own and site-seeing is always tiring no matter how fun it is. Now you factor in practice/working out and it all piles on. These guys have been away from home for almost a full week now.
They went site seeing ONE day
Yes, now include all of the other factors of travelling/being away from home, deviating from routines such as workout times (different time zone for body clock),...
and even if you don't site see, just being away from home is tiring in itself.
Now Denver is handling all of their work routines like normal. the only thing they will be doing different is travelling farther and playing at an odd time.
no they arent, they started practice on tuesday which is there normal off day as well.
They will be flying out on friday instead of practicing like normal. so there body clocks arent normal as well
Joe you are reaching

Also, is the game going to be played live at 10am pacific? What will that be in Europe, late night? Denver's body clock will be just fine but the Niners will adjust to local time and on top of that, they will be playing a very late night game.

Yes the game is live at 10am PST and its an 8 hour difference so the game will be played at 6pm London time

You're right. But it's still a big stage.
They won't have pissy fans booing at the team, so that's a plus

I'm glad this London game is happening this season. The season is already lost so it doesn't matter as much if we lose this because of traveling and what not. 49ers played in Mexico and now London, it should hopefully mean a long long time before we have to play abroad again.
