Maybe I should be asking if we should have Kept him and traded Smith, but that's too easy and I'd rather look forward. Kevin Kolb and Dennis Dixon are the other current backups I'd consider, or is everyone set on drafting a QB if Alex can't turn it around?

If we're talking about players currently under contract with NFL teams, I'd bring in Peyton Manning and Tom Brady to back him up.
