Maybe I'm alone on this one, but why is a weapon like Brian Westbrook riding the bench? Why are we not easing him into the rotation? This whole work horse/bell-cow thing is getting old. Frank is a beast, but he needs to know his limits and so does Singletary.

PLAY WESTBROOK.

I completely agree. They say they trust Gores blitz pic up. Well move Westbrook into the slot and keep Gore into block. Westbrook is better than our third reciever anyway.
Seriously how much imagination does it take to get Gore and Westbrook on the field at the same time.

don't forget that Westbrook can pick up a blitz as well. Dixon also showed he wasn't the liability they thought he was during the preseason.

PLAY WESTBROOK.

It boils down to coaching ------ coaching ------ coaching. Where else would Brian Westbrook be sitting on the bench when the team has gone 0-4 , only here , and only under Singletary.

he probably isn't good at picking up offenses. I read at the end of August he will probably have to learn the playbook week by week with the game plan similar to the way Crabtree did last year.

How complicated is it to learn this offense's half-page play book?

nice joke, but in all reality the coaches have to have confidence in RBs knowing not only the play but the pass protections for you to see the field.

I don't go for that. I'm sure westbrook could memorize a dozen or so plays that he is spefically involved in. He's been in the league for a while he could handle a dozen plays I'm sure. In a Matt barrows article westbrook says that he's frustrated. I think he'll leave the team after this year. What a shame.. we have a good cast of characters and were blowing it! It really ticks me off!

I feel sorry for the guy, he could of not signed with us and been playing a major role on another team.

Yeah and if he doesn't get some serious action this week you can expect him to ask for a trade or to be released so he can play elsewhere.
The last time I checked we are not a smart team that uses it's talent. Has something changed?
