If so, where did we go wrong on offense (scorless in 2nd half)

Even without smiths lack of touch passes the game was over after the Nate int. Touch passes are harder to master than holding on to the f#*^n ball.

We lost because Clements negated a great play ( interception) with a bonehead fumble. all he had to do was take a slide or knee. Keep the faith, we are only 2 games out of the division lead!.

We're a bad team.

Bad teams find ways to lose.

They certainly found an interesting way to lose today though. This is a new one for me. A new and utter low. We intercept the opponents QB with less than two minutes on the clock and run it back to their five yard line -- yet . . .

WE STILL FOUND A WAY TO LOSE...

Can't put this one all on Alex Smith's shoulders -- of course -- but his play didn't help matters much.

Where do we go from here? Some where in the NFL is a quarterback better than all these stiffs on our roster, that can "run" an offense. Get him, practice ball control all week, and maybe we can win a game.
