Singletary is not a quitter and its not the honorable thing to do by the Samuari mentality he loves.

Dingleberry? Really? Dude deserves much more respect than this...c'mon.

You keep telling yourself that one, brother...

I couldn't care less what the man did for "Da' Bears", it is all about what he is doing for the 49ers and all he is doing right now is making us look like a last rate team.

For crying out loud, we have yet to get a win and (speaking of last rate teams...) the Rams have already gotten one fourth of their "projected wins for the year".

Blow it all up and re-install the WCO. Make Tom Rathman O-Coord, and tell Sing it's Rathman's game to call. Sing can try to "motivate" the team, and focus on repairing a D that's starting to look like the O.

Sure the team's "set up" for the "idiots" (I mean "digits") system, but we need a system that can grow a QB. This season could be toast soon if we don't do something about our predictability. At least start scripting plays. Mix it up a little. A new OC could help with that.

If all this fails, replace Sing at the end of the Season.

Who knows? Maybe "old-One Superbowl" was pissed about the Niners winning tradition and decided to take a shot at taking us down a notch (just kidding - He's a great former NFLer, and he's probably as frustrated as the rest of us - he just needs to be pulled out of the entire O game plan).

I think even the Yorks don't want to be life-long NFL losers... They are successful businesspeople for a reason. That competitive fire does burn - they just need to wake up before it's too late.

Time for Jed to start emulating his uncle...

We are stuck with the Sing and Raye show for the entire season, Frank Gore up the middle 15 times a game (To stick with the run) or a screen pass behind scrimmage on 3rd and long (So the players can make a play). Too Late to install a new offense, the spread will get predictable as well. Sing is a good motivator, but he is stubborn and knows nothing as far as offensive scheming, plus Raye was always the third choice guy (He needed a job) Who else would take OC??? The QB coach?? Yeah right, remember the last time they tried that?? Miss the WCO but this team has been tooled for something else, it is not working, wont work in 2010, maybe 7 wins this year, more depression....

I am so sick of this overused statement, Sing is "movtivating" absolutely NO ONE. Can you really call this team "motivated" and keep a straight face?

Sing is no motivator, he is just a talker with a scary voice.

OK, irrespective of weather or not he is an actual motivator, that is one of the reasons he was hired, that is the JOB he had during the nineties, cant think of any other reason (While keeping a straight Face) why he was given a fricken HC job in the first place.. He knows nothing about offense other then Payton was a bad ass and McMahon liked sunglasses, and Defense, well he is not calling those schemes either. So to answer the question, no he is not motivating anyone, which is one of the things he was hired to do.. along with managing the clock, players etc. He was better suited as an assist HC/LB Coach/Individual player mentor type, He is on over his head and the record will show

Sing won't fire raye until we're 0 and 6 and its too late. Sing is no different from nolan. Outcoached and frequently embarrassed, shoot he might even be worse.
Your right, He might be worse due to the HOF status which does not always equate to HC skills

5. johnson will call our plays
6. crabtee demanding a trade
7. VD getting into a fist fight with another teammate

i swear anything is possible with all this f**king drama. I just have this gut feeling something dramatic and major is happening tommorow, anyone else feeling that too?

how about
8. everything will stay the same and no playoffs at the end of the year

that would be dramatic and i feel it will happen

Everyone would like to see WCO return, but this team has been tooling up for this crap offense for a while now. They need a QB who can make quick reads, step up, and release the ball quickly, if not, scramble "Ala Young" and grabs yards by foot. Smith is not that guy. Bob M (RIP) Liked smaller, undersized linemen who were strong but fast, they could pull mad on sweeps, cut block and provide pass protection. We have 300# plus dudes more fitted for run blocking, similar to the 90's cowgirls beefy o-line. Full Backs... we have M Norris, not Rathman, Not Bar-None Floyd (Both great pass catchers). Receivers, Not Bad, but not even close to Jerry Rice, MAYBE an equivalent to Taylor (Morgan) and a Stokes (Crabtree). Davis is the one Dude who is top Notch. Gore could do great in any offense as well, he is a great receiver, but 1 good RB will not take a team deep to the play-offs in 2010... It just seems like the WCO is far away and getting further each year/draft..

Yeah but just because we don't have the players now doesn't mean we wont forever. A lot of teams run the WCO without having a Joe or Steve or Jerry. Look at Philly. They have a huge OLine, they had McNabb who was very good but not a Young or Montana, and they had no name WRs for a long time and decent backs/TEs like LJ Smith and Westbrook. Or Washington who is running it right now. They don't have a Jerry. Or the Bucs when gruden ran it with different QBs and Galloway or whoever as the #1.
Everything will stay the same.

kinda like the changes last year to get the offense going and ditch running up the gut to going to the spread.. Like the offseason to get alex with the same coordinator for 2 years in a row to make him a more proficent quarterback in the nlf. Yeah right! 6 years counting and managent and coach are blinded. Kinda like fixing the issues with time management last year, this year. Has anything happened like that? this team is a sinking titanic. Trust me the best is yet to come.

A bully wearing a cross around his neck deserves respect?
If we kept Nolan for what...3 years? Why would we replace singletary when he still has 13 games to lose for us. Then he might go
