Logic and reason, they're two things I believe very much in using. And while being 0-3 is completely discouraging, it is important to look at the bigger picture, in this case, that is the seventeen week schedule. So far we've lost at the two loudest stadiums on the road (Where those teams are a combined 4-0), and against the defending Super Bowl champs at home. What remains are six road games, six home games, and one game in London against a team we're better than. Below is a look at the remaining schedule. @ATL PHI OAK @CAR DEN *BYE* STL TB @AZ @GB SEA @SD @STL AZ When I look at it, I see two likely losses, and a bunch of games we can and should win. The two games that we should lose are next week at Atlanta, and in Week 13, at Green Bay. Aside from those games, the rest of our schedule is fairly easy. The next two biggest challenges will be our home game against Philly in Week 5 and our road game against the Chargers in Week 15. This season is far from over. Three game losing streaks happen to good teams. But if we are a good team, and I truly do believe we are, we will rebound... even if we lose again next week.

we are clearly the worst team in the worst division. The rams just smoked the Skins. The seahawks are looking legit and the Cardinals still look pretty solid. We'll be lucky to place 3rd in the division this year.

i can only hope. 2-14 means Singletary is gone, a new HC and OC next year. Also means A.Smith is gone, #1 pick QB, here we come!

this is pretty much the best case scenario at the moment, but only if we play up to preseason expectations

Seriously, 2-14? This team has played like garbage, but no way are they as bad as Cleveland and Buffalo. 2-14 is on par with those teams.

Well with an OC, thats knows how to exploit the opposing defenses weakness, and put all of our players on offense in a position to be most successful.

We can easily still go 10-6 or 9-7, and still win the division.

At this point, winning the division is the worst possible result for the 49ers. Better to finish .500 or worse and miss the playoffs. Then Singletary is fired, Alex Smith is not re-signed, we have a pick in the top of the first round and could possibly land a blue chip QB prospect. But only if management hires a legitimate football GM, that can create a plan for the organization and hire a coach that fits the plan and can execute.

I'm hoping you're right man!

I'm tired of this team underacheaving but am still hoping for the best given the talent we have.

I'm even more tired of the haters on this board who are supposed to be such big fans of the team!!

The negativity is killing me and I pray our players have more intestinal fortitude than you fair weather fans.
