He'll be re-signed, as long as he doesn't TANK this year. If he proves to be a middle-of-the-road QB with a low-to-mid QB rating in the 80s, we'll keep him on a 2-year contract. In the meantime, we'll draft a QB high and start Alex while we groom some young rascal.
But if he plays like he does tonight, I think he's here for the long term.

The first one was his fault, the second wasn't, he just got unlucky. Fatass DL jumps way up in the air and gets it.

True..... Alex thinks he can simply laser beam everything and a lot of times those balls get batted down or up and get intercepted. Young and Montana threw some of the prettiest touch passes ever. Wish Alex could.
