ya on that 4 down , they should have lined up westbrook and gore in the back field and sent westbrook out instead of norris . westbrook would have caught the pass that was a tad high .

Zing!!!!! That would have been freakin' sweet. Although I wonder if the reason Norris was so wide open was because the entire state of Washington committed to stop the run on that play.

its because leaving Norris wide open is the same thing as triple coverage on anyone else

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out our offense. We want to run the ball. Big deal.

What was more effective IMO was Jeff Ulbrich being on the Seattle coaching staff. The offense picked apart our defense. But then again, I'm not sure how effective that was either because Hasselbeck said after Clements picked him off, he was abandoning his assignment and jumping routes. Then Clements got torched.

I'm sure ex-niners being on the team had a little bit do with the loss, but I don't think it did that much.

As far a Westbrook, I don't know why we aren't designing plays to maximize his potential. Get him like 5-8 touches. Put him in the same back field with Gore. Throw some creative stuff out there.
