Kyle Williams

let's hope they're just being overly careful with him.

I think the last I heard he wasn't expected to be ready for the season opener.
That kid is explosive. They better not release him.

Skinny_Post RT @RespectKW10: And for the 49er faithful my toe is feelin much better now that I'm outta that boot. Can't wait to get back to work.

There's the latest.........my feeling is he makes the roster as a slot receiver and core special teamer/punt returner.

Out of the boot is good.

Toes can bother a guy all season though especially at the WR position, so I hope he doesn't rush back before its properly healed

I don't expect him to be activated for 2-4 more weeks. Toes are important, and the muscles atrophy rather quickly in that part of the foot while immobilized. Calf muscles lose tone as well. I'm glad Philip Adams showed up because I was not impressed with anyone else as a returner other than Williams.

It looks like Crabtree has started to mentor the young players already. Williams will be out until his toe is manicured and polished.

Or until alex polishes his nob.

Just please secure the ball first. I would like to see the other team punt with feeling like I am about to have a heart-attack.

Dude, seriously. Every punt I was just holding my breath. And then of course the Adams fiasco happened But man I am excited to see #10 out there. I haven't given up on Adams yet, though -- dude looks like he is pretty good at KR/PR, just he needs to learn to not catch those.
I don't know if its that we have holes in our roster or what, but kyle Williams is a good example of all our late round picks--Byham, Dixon, Phillip Adams...all hyped, none of them have done much in games yet, but they've all impressed coaches.

Kyle Williams has a legitimate shot at the no. 3 receiver slot, and when healthy he should definitely be our punt returner.
