I am pretty sure he was working on returns in the OTA's. I know it will bring back nightmares for many but its probably the best news you could hear about him. He did not let what happened affect him mentally and he is working hard to get bettter. i am sure his support staff he has with his coaches and team mates are key. I hope he does well and makes the team but if he gets cut it will be due to the fact he got out played by someone better and i have no problem with that

This x10000000.

And the thing is, I don't think theres a WR right now working HARDER than this guy. Just by looking at the OTA pics, the guy looks like he gained 5-7lbs of muscle alone. I heard he hasnt stopped working out since the tragedy. I'm sure he makes the team as our 5th WR. Moss isnt going to be resigned, and Ginn will be our 6th. Just because they're farther down the depth chart doesnt mean they wont get to see playing time. They'll be used exclusively just like LMJ.

ginn can thank his lucky stars he is good about returning kicks and punts. I think that is the only way he holds on to that 6 spot. as you said next year will be interesting as i still think we willl get our year out of moss and then cut bait, while not resigning ginn. I am thinking the kid we drafted and maybe kyle williams takes the return duties next year. maybe

what's more sad was he's the only guy on the team with the SB ring, (or one of the only....)
How about this, when the guy redeems him on an NFL field, then we can start praising him for his talent/work ethic etc.

he sounds like he is redeeming himself in practice and that is a nice start. when you are as low as he was, you gotta start from ground zero. if he makes it great, if someone better beats him out and he gets cut, then he will mean nothing to me

you can't redeem yourself in practice

His overall pt. is that he is starting somewhere and where better to start than practice. I do not believe that he is saying that williams is completely redeemed.

Where better to start? By my calculation that is the only possible place to start. He's doing good in practice, kudos to him. It doesn't matter at all until he proves on the field he can be trusted with the ball and be a playmaker.

come one guys. I said it is a start. To some he has redeemed himself already by not killing himself or just quitting football, to most people like you guys, he has to make the team, make some plays and be a game changer and thats fine. i just meant his attitude in practice, his willingess to go back and recieve punts and kicks is a good step in his rehab!, thats all i meant,
