we need this guy, i just re-watched the seattle game we lost last year and brooks beat sean locklear with a wicked spin move for a sack on hasselbeck, something i havent see lawson do

Agreed. Lawson was the guy who actually got to Favre a secon too late after he threw it.

a kidney laceration seems pretty severe. I'm not sure 2 weeks is enough time.
