I think he's been our "Glass Man" since he arrived. He always managed to get hurt when we needed him most too. Glad the sled-flipping machine is now on our team!

I don't want Baas injured for obvious depth reasons, but bottom line is that Iupati should/will start from day 1. Less of a transition at guard than at tackle. This is why I felt on draft day that Iupati would be the biggest contributor right away.

Loved the Davis pick, but he will have to be eased in. RT position puts a lot on his shoulders.

looks like the Iupati era begins

@mattbarrows
Justin Smith just blew Iupati back five yards on the first snap of team drills.

This is just awesome for Iupati to be training with a Pro Bowl DE, his maturation process will excel faster (specially when it comes to picking up on moves/tricks).

Anybody else hear about how Iupati almost flipped the tackling sled over this morning?

How heavy are those tackling sleds?

Staley had no problem stepping into the RT spot. It can be done.

That's my hope Stoney. As Sing said, we need these guys in right away to make an impact. Without them in the lineup, it's the same permeable line we suited up last year. Love Davis because he's from my hometown but I just have a feeling he may take a little while before he steps into the starting role....reason being he's only 20 years old.

I hope your prediction beats mine out though.
