Is Anthony Davis a BUST?

Is Anthony Davis a BUST?

P.S. Could you imagine if a player was so bad in the OTA's that the team refused to sign him? It is going to happen someday.

If that happens, everybody in your scouting department should be fired.

During OTA the rookies head is going full speed and they are just trying to learn the Offense. Eventually they will learn that Jimmy Raye only has one running play and 10 screens and 2 deep passing plays.

Well, it actually kinda happened before, if not with the Niners. To be more precise, there have been three players in NFL history who were cut before being signed, with the last time being as recent as last season:

Raiders cut Stryker Sulak before signing him

Two prior rookies were cut before they signed

Two of those guys at least had some sort of excuse, Raheem Brock was cut because the Eagles ran out of rookie pool money and is actually a decent player for the Colts now and Christian Peter was cut because the Patriots only realized some of his off-the-field problems after they drafted him (so it was their fault).

Now Stryker Sulak, on the other hand may actually have been so bad that he was cut, but then again, we are talking about the Raiders…

Even the great Okung is struggling in OTAs. Our boy Davis will be fine, they are rookies and prone to mistakes.

That would be something. Even Mourice Clarett made it to pre-season.
