ted ginn jr should only be use as a returner. we should use kyle williams more in the slot 'cause he has better hand and run better route. if the niners decide to let him test free agent, niners can pick a return man in this year draft.
dude almost single handedly lost the game. first it was the ricochet interception. then it was the almost fumble on that punt return
Ginn is a "the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh" kind of player. He will do something amazing and gets cocky and then turns around and makes a bonehead play like the perfect pass that bounced off of his facemask for an interception. He tried to grab it, turn and run all at the same time. Instead of looking the pass into his hands he whipped his head around and started to run upfield. He looked like a kid with ADHD. A split second attention span.

We won. It's not his fault that Morgan got hurt or he wouldn't be out there. I'm just gald things worked out.
The players should put some of this in Ginn's locker,

Him being on the field with the offense really does help everyone because he can fly. He didnt have a great game but he does do more for our offense than he gets credit for
He's been turning the page well.
He still has his minor drops, but his patters have been nice and his grabs have been nice.

Just needs more work on getting both feet in bounds.
His head is always on a swivel when he's about to catch a pass, and that last drop he had illustrates it perfectly. As soon as the ball got close he turned his head, and he got his body ready for impact from a defender that wasn't even there. He goes to the ground way too often when he catches comeback/stop routes instead of trying to get extra yards. I hope we see less of him at wr and let Kyle Williams do his thing.
That was a helluva touchdown catch he made when it called back though huh? You have to trust what Harbaugh knows...and you don't. I think he knows what he is doing.

I don't think he's soft. The guy is a punt returner on ST, where guys are coming up full speed, trying to knock him out every time he tries to catch the ball. He gets in trouble when he tries to run with the ball before he could catch it, especially on an easy one where he just assumed that he has got it. A lack of concentration. Doesn't have quick hands.

So is my dick
have you ever tried to punt return in the NFL when 240 pounds and bigger men coming @ you then say he is soft ! He Won a game for us and that what counts we would be 8-3 if it was not for him in the first game !

As a punt returner he isn't, as a wr he is. Watch the drop again, his body goes into a shutdown defensive mode and you can see it in his facial expression. He was preparing for impact but no one was there.

We were still up by 2 before those touchdowns...

While I agree with you that he is not soft as a return specialist, it is tiring to here that he won the first game. The 9ers won by 16 points, not by 14.
