I don't hate willis! He is a bad as* LB and I am glad he is on our team. I just have a strong feeling he really doesn't want to be here. His contract coming up and he is in no hurry to sign. I really wish he would but i think he won't. I think he would take less money else where. If we do make the playoffs this year his price will be so high that the cheap Yorks wont be willing to pay. Altlease when Mike Nolan was here he got them to spend!

I think the thing that stands out about this signing, is that the vertical passing game is here to stay.

he is under contract for this year & next year 2 whole years to get a deal done

lets start to panic when its March 1 2012

until then just sit & back & enjoy having the Best linebacker in the league rocking the niner uniform for 2 more whole season's & hopefully beyond.

Scotty knows more than me? I would've picked DeSean Jackson over Balmer in 2007. Not saying I DO know more than him, but just because he gets paid a lot of money to do a job doesn't mean his decisions are always great dude, and a lot of guys I've wanted us to pick up have gone on to light the league up elsewhere. I have always been a bit of a Smith fan and I think he'll do pretty good this year, but we don't need to waste like 2 million per year on David friggin Carr. We have bigger needs than that. It's a waste of his time and our team's money. His reasoning for not wanting guys like Spiller or Jackson is dumb, how he doesn't want his team to be a bunch of exceptions or whatever. I think this is a stupid signing.

Yes at first I wanted DeSean Jackson over balmer. When Jerry Rice was saying this guy was a baller! But, look we got crabtree. Would your rather have Speedy DeSean Jackson or Big in your face Crabtree????? If we took Jackson we wouldn't of took Crabtree!! Plus linemen more valueable then any wide reciever.

I would rather have both Crabtree and Jackson because then the whole field is open for Crab and VD to use becacuse we'd have DJax lifting the coverage. Right now we don't have anyone to stretch the field.

What an overreaction. F Willis???? Really??? How could that even come off of your finger tips? F Willis because Willis doesn't see the point of signing Carr and hasn't signed an extension? I didn't realize Carr was so valuable to our franchise or that the extension of a contract that doesn't expire for another two years is so imminent.

Dude still stares down his receivers like he did in college. Would love to see this #1 overall bust prove me wrong and help this team.

This defitely means goodbye to Shaun Hill. Dood has had the most heart at QB since Garcia.. Hill did a good job here, and will make a very good backup to a west coast offense team

I think he's gonna take #14 or #18 (#18 most likely because he's been #8 throughout his entire career.)
