Never liked him, he played for an awful Texans team, an awful Lions team, and now he plays awful on our team! He brings the stench of failure where ever he goes!
Hopefully with Gore taking a diminished role in the offense, Westbrook and Dixon deserve time, as well as our passing attack, Frank will no longer be able to defend his pet fullback!

With Byham and Delanie, Norris is the odd man out. He is useless in the run game, and does not serve as a great run blocker

Frank wants to run behind Moran. Before we can Gore's chosen FB, I think we need to make the D's loosen up in the box.
Moran never was a multi-faceted or even short yardage back, he's Gore's escort through the gut of the opposing defense.

until teams actually believe that we can go deep on them, we'll continue to struggle in the run game.

I wanted Tony Fiametta...but Quinn Johnson was my second choice! Either way, I've obviously thought it was already past time to replace Norris.

He would be more effective in Spot duty, not as an every down player, we need more playmakers on the field, our offense has been stale and predictable, the coaching staff has really put the offense on the spot by forcing them to deal with 3rd and long plays due to running two predicatble running plays up the middle the majority of the time

True....but a FB that can will no doubt help....in many ways.

If Gore puts up a hissy fit, over his chosen FB...Singletary better grow some balls like he did with VD.....when Norris is in a formation 98% it's a run....So predictable, soo stopable!
