A Raye of hope...

They should hire a poker player to consult Jimmy Raye. Or perhaps the Rock-Paper-Scissors champion. I honestly think it would help.

He needs a better understanding of pattern recognition and deception.

It is a lot easier for a progressive OC to come up with running plays than it is for a smash-mouth OC to come up with the spread.

Raye just is a drag on the system right now and if you have to have the QB coach go over to explain changes made since 1953...

that s**t p*ssed me off the whole season. we couldnt get into any rhythm since we always couldnt convert a 3rd down
I'd like to give Raye some credit, after all Sing dictated the kind of running offense he wanted, nobody but Raye would take the OC position last season. When Sing figured out that his will imposing running attack didn't cut it, he allowed Raye to open things up and Raye did a good job doing it.
