I think we would have had a very good chance this year if there wasn't the injuries to Clement and Staley. Clement gave us talent and vet leadership. Although Sims is doing a hellava job replacing Staley. MVP
With the emerging passing game and a tighter defense we would have a very good chance. As it is we are what we are.

Playing with discipline would have made this team a playoff team. They just shoot themselves in the foot way too many times. If we actually do add an effective passrusher, a good safety, a RT, and a Guard, this team would become a Super Bowl contender. We have the best MLB in the league, one of the top TEs, up and coming Wideouts, good CBs when all are healthy, a very good Dline, an emerging QB, and an above average RB.

Just not sure cause our needs are as follows, outside linebacker, offensive guard possibly two, offensive tackle, Eric Berry, pr/kr. Thats alot of holes I think we played above our talent level at the beginning of the season and Sings pixie dust is starting to where off. So I just dont know hopefully next year.

Question is, what's going to get us over the hump?
A road grading LG and a dominant RT. Throw in a Play making FS(Berry?)and a legit Pass rusher and you have yourself a playoff team.
That is a fair number of major needs actually....but you are dead on. The issue I have with this team is that it has known its own weaknesses since 2005!... (poor O line and no pass rush) and has either been unwilling or unable to address those weaknesses. Doesn't speak too well for team management. Are the management guys in place to go out and get what this team needs to get to the next level? That, my friends, is the real question....

Second quarter offense of 2009 + 2006 defense + 2008 special teams = NFC West

So I ask you when do you think we will finally get it right and make the playoffs? Because simply I can't take the losing anymore.
Next year...... I keep saying it, but next year for sure...........

I love to be positive but I think our chances for this year rely not on what we do anymore but what other teams do. When you get into that kind of position you're in trouble.
On the bright side, I think we're going to dominate this coming decade like the Pats dominated this one. The future is bright.
As soon as we get a Head Coach and not a Head Cheer Leader
