Taking the pulse before the hawks game ...
Personaly i don't think so even if we lose against seattle
We should win at least two or three by playing seabirds, lambs and cats
that would make us at least 7-9
With that scenario i truly believe scotty mike & raye keep their jobs for at least one more year
The little resurection of the offense should favor raye plus smith is our QB for 2010 (if you can read what sing says between the lines) so expect to see another OC next season ... NOT !

First of all, neither sing nor raye's job is on the line this season, regardless of what
the out come of the rest of the games are. The offense has made great strides
despite the injuries we've had. The defense seems to play alot better when there
not on the field the whole first half of the game. Second, I feel that scott has done
a good enough job as GM not to be fired this year. Look at the players he has
brought in. Vernon Davis, Josh Morgan, Jason Hill, Michael crabtree, Delania
Walker, Joe Staley, Alex Smith, Frank Gore, Justin Smith, Nate Clements, Patrick
Willis, Takeo Spikes. Sure he has missed on some but what GM doesn't I think
most of you fans are just so sick and tired of being out of the playoffs or the
playoff race by december that you guys want to just fire everyone without thinking
rationally first. We will atleast give Arizona a run for there money this year. I believe next year with our offensive line being fixed and finding a pass rusher, no
one in our division will come close to touching us. Here is to many years of
greatness to come and another decade of dominance. How about we bring home
another five.

Of course not. I dont get all this nonsense about firing scott Mac. He has been deadly on his draft picks, the only one im thinking he missed somewhat is Balmer but we wont really know until the end of next year, i have all the trsut in the world that he is going to continue to get us very good players. NOw for the coaching, i was growing desperate watching the offense throw away games for us but the staff has shown the ability to change now that we have, we need to keep this thing going in the same direction for a little more that a few games and maybe we can reach our full potential next season, so taking all of that into account we MUST kep them all in here.

I agree but...
then he goes and cuts guys without a true replacement available.
i.e. Allen Rossum. That guy may have gotten injured and hey Scott may have known something that we or the rest of the league didn't, but it's the GM's responsibility to know what the personnel status is behind a guy OR even worse protect the interest of the team. If a guy is going to be PUP eligible or have to go on IR then it's Scott's responsibility to cover the team's butt and keep them out of player litigation. Scott hasn't done any of this so far as I am aware of so as I said his job may not be on the line but he should be VERY afraid.
Especially when Dwight Clark was brought back and Holmgren is available. Nobody't job is safe when they make poor decisions DURING the season. Unless of course you're the GM of the Boltz. lol

Oline coach/ DB`s coach should be on the line. Raye`s head needs to roll too unless he keeps up the good work IMO...

Deadly on his draft picks? Maybe - but unfortunatly it's US that he's killing! It's as much about what he picks, as it is what he misses out on. How did we help the pass rush in the draft? How did we improve the O-line? If we wanted a power run team, we could have EASILY put together several huge oieces of it last year - and we didn't take a SINGLE one of them. No clue when it comes to team needs.

I could see these two being replaced. I also can not see what Sullivan does for us. I think Raye is showing a great deal of flexibility and we may be seeing a new offense risig up through the ashes of our old offense. So if it continues to improve we may be on to something.

Maybe he can help Forrester pack his bags and the two of them can get F#*^ed for all I care, I can't stand to see that has been (Sulivan) and the never was (Forester) F this team up and hold us back another season!
In the ancient times men who failed as massively as these two had the class to fall on their own swords and kill themselves!

I say None of them, because the 49ers front office knows they need consistency on the coaching staff side, and have yet to have it. They will probably use the logic of well "Jimmy Raye hasn't been fantastic, but he hasn't done enough for us to fire him yet". Atleast that is what I envision IMO.

Screw that in the modern times Yakuza still commit Sepuku when they have brought disgrace to themselve, family and clan.
and having been inspired by you I took the effort to send the tanto and rice paper over to quest field with instructions on how to perform the ritual the traditional way.
But we Irish have the best way. Drown our livers in Guinness stout and Irish Whiskey, preferably Jameson's. It's slow painful and entertaining as hell.

Dude just a thought but don't you think that the FB would be able to get better blocking if the Line wouldn't get blown up in the IForm the way they do? The FB is sposed to take on LBs' not DLmen. Occasionally he has to pickup the blitz but when their under constant assault with no end in site... Other than the Opposing DEnds of course.
Not saying that Norris is the stud he was a few years back, but I think that without the constant influx of Opposing Linemen he would be doing much better than he has been.
This of course should change when the Opposing has to adjust to the Spread but we better be running an amalgamation of the Spread and the Power I if we are to have any success running the ball
