I say he get's his first 300 yard passing game of his career. VD get's 2 td's along with one for Crabs and Morgan.

nah, Smith needs to gain some experience and a rapport with the receivers. Well, the receivers need to catch better. Davis won't play this year and there is no reason he should.

Yes, you can say this and that. But at the end of the day, the players around Smith did not help him out at ALL. 10 dropped passes. Are you kidding me?

Gore's fumble is on Alex Smith as well, huh? Smith drove us from the 1 yard line on that drive only for Gore to cough it up when we were in FG range.

Smith not performing under pressure? What games are you watchimg? What was he supposed to do with 50 seconds from there own ten? I gues he should have walked to the end zone and handed the ball to vd or crabtree those two trows could not have been any better. Seriously are you watching the games or just straight up hating?

Once again Alex didn't get the chance to bring the team back. Not sure if he would have been able to, but he didn't get the chance. From what I saw in the sports bar, he did a very good job running the plays that were called. Nobody can blame him for the special teams flub or Frank's fumble. GO VIKINGS!!! LOL

I agree 100%. Anyone who lays the blame on Smith for this game is either totally biased, blind, or a fool. Lay the blame on all of the drops, the Gore fumble, or the horrible pass defense.

With the game on the line, Smith drove the team 125 yards on separate drives, one starting on his own two yard line, only to have Gore fumble on one and then first Davis and then Crabtree not catch well thrown balls on the second.

After that, it is disingenuous to say Smith didn't perform well under pressure.

Last time I checked, football is a team sport. Alex is part of the blame, but you can blame the rest of the 44 players and the coaching staff. As of right now, Alex is the least of my worries.
