I didn't provide the option of signing a proven veteran because they generally don't become available. Look at what Eli signed for before he even went on the market. Look at what it cost teams to get Cutler and Cassel and how they've done. Look at what Brett had to pull trying to get out of GB. We could get someone like Garcia (he was great while we had him) but I am talking about the future here.
