(hypothetically) Would Shaun Hill have won the game on the last drive?

Shaun Hill has performed admirably in 4th quarter come from behind situations. He led the game-winning 4th quarter drive against Arizona, and led the would be game-winning drive against Minnesota. Both 80-yard drives. So I ask, would Shaun Hill have continued his clutch play and led the Niners to victory on the last drive or would he have continued the debacle of the 1st half?

No. Because at the rate he was playing, there wouldn't have been a potential game winning drive.

even on his good days where he actually moved the ball, his drives usually take upwards of 5-6 minutes to complete

If he hurled a pass down the field to Jason Hill and somehow Josh Morgan ended up catching it for a TD then yes, maybe. Otherwise, probably not.

i actually like 5-6 min drives. it gives our defense time to rest. but i hate when we waste 5-6 min. on a drive and have to punt it in the end

They arent so good when theres less than 2 minutes left in the game though I think that was the point he was trying to make.

So this thread is hypothetically saying when the going gets tough and Hill can't move the ball, put in Alex to get within 3 pts. Then give Hill the last drive of the game to redeem in all the glorious
