Best thing is Crabs is used to catching passes from a QB with a weak arm, Harrell did not have a cannon but was pretty accurate. So having to come back on routes to help out his QB is something he is already used to doing.

But he isn't used to catching punts yet.

I truly believe Crabtree will return some punts for us this year. I remember the press conference when Crabs was introduced after he finally signed. Coach said he would let him get used to the offense 1st then start looking at him for ST play. He did not specify KR/PR but I can't Crabtree being used on ST in any other capacity other than return man.

I was talking about punts that originate from hands, not feet.

to many beers thus far i guess went right over my head
4 catches 65 yds and his first nfl td.
Don't care as long as we win. but if we lose I hope he at least shows some promise.
10 receptions for 150 yards, Rush TD, Receiving TD, Passing TD, 3 sacks, INT to the HOUSE!!

he's going to do it all.......

3 catches 40 yds

I say on our first play, we just try throwing a long bomb to Crabtree.

If it doesn't work, oh well, it'll be 2nd and 10, just like if we ran it.

What's a BOMB for Hill?? 25 yards? Anything over that turns into a helicopter spin
Love to see a big game, but most likely is 0 catches.

Let Battle throw it out of the wildcat. It cant be any worse of a spiral than Hill.

If it's a shootout, he might have 4 catches for 57 yards or something similar. If it's a close game, I'd say maybe 3 catches for 25 yards.

I think if we use him in some bubble screens then his yac will make up for them being short passes.
