Why, the man is not performing and is making $1 million a game and is a free agent next year unless we tag him. If we do that than he gets paid $16 million plus.

Schefter said this trade should happen for both teams' benefits, but it probably won't.
Of course both teams would benefit from a trade like that, but its not going to happen. And this thread title is very misleading because it sounds like it is a done deal, when it is just an idea that has a 99% failure rate.

IBTL-Peppers would be nice but he's a guy you get when your one piece away. $1M per game underperforming who knows if he would adjust to being a good LB. LB isn't our problem it's the OL
