I believe there was some fluff thrown in, incentives and such to make the deal more appealing and so that Crabtree can sort of save face. There might have been a couple different versions on the table. The Niners might possibly be looking to add another year to the deal also.

Since Parker is known for getting 4 year deals for his clients, if the 49ers come away with a 6 year deal, HUGE win for them.......
