OFFICIAL I HATE MARK ROMAN THREAD

I'm surprised that there isn't one of these yet, or that i haven't thought of this before.

I don't ever hate any player on our team but Mark Roman, He has to be let go, He's Garbage.

I'm so tired of this guy not being in the right spot in coverage and giving up a big play.

We got other options besides him, CUT MARK ROMAN PLEASE!!!

not it
C'mon, really?

IBTL
That's not very nice.
31 teams passes on him and we kept him AND gave him critical playing time.

One thing I would like to know is that if Singletary is the reason why the team is playing faster and harder, then is he also the reason why Roman still sucks?

Look, I think Singletary is the best thing that could happen to this team, but I think he's getting just a little too much credit. He's getting all the credit for the defense and no blame for the offense?
It doesn't matter how much he's hated, because unfortunately we're stuck with him.

Well, what do you expect, he's the worse player on the team, i hate seeing this guy on the field, he doesn't deserve playing time EVER.'

He barely makes a play for us, It's so frustrating to see him miss a coverage play.

He's the reason why Clements has struggled last couple years, He's the worst FS in the league.

Maybe you should watch the play again so you can see Justin Smith put his hand right on Favre's #4 and still let him get the throw off. Now that deserves some blame. Maybe Roman was thought Smith was going to do his job
Let's cut him and sign Jason David. He'll be the answer. That way the opposing offense can just throw in his direction.

How about all of you Roman haters take a look at some film. If you calling Favre's pass as a Roman issue, maybe we should sign you to get beat like a drum.

Roman's actually made some nice plays as an extra DB. I agree with replacing him as a starter, but tell me who you would put in there.
I wish this Mark Roman bashing would stop. I get as mad as anyone when I see him blow a coverage the last few years, or his lack of INTs, but this year I think he has been doing a good job. I've seen him make some great plays in his reserve role, which is pretty impressive for a guy who isn't a starter anymore to be playing that hard when he gets a chance to get in the game. It kind of reminds me of Ulbrich. Ulbrich plays his best every chance he gets, and although he's not our best linebacker, he plays very well in a reserve role.

That last play, the TD by Favre, wasn't Romans fault. It was a crazy once in a lifetime pass and catch, reminiscent of the Catch and last years super bowl catch to me. The receiver made a play and Favre made a disgusting pass and that's it.

Roman shouldn't be the starter, but he's done very well in his reserve role.

You can't be serious. Blaming Justin Smith for not being able to sack Favre? That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard all day. Roman let his man get to the ball on a miraculous throw that should have been knocked down. Give me a break.
Hate to break it to you guys, but with Reggie Smith out, you better believe Sing will keep all of the secondary players the team has.

Just like the Zone, complain about the bad, and hardly acknowledge the good. I'm not saying I'm a Roman fan at all, in fact, I'm glad he hardly sees PT. But when he makes solid tackes in run support, or better yet, when the D gets a coverage sack, Roman never gets any credit.

We need to stop talking about how someone or one play or the refs had anything to do with the loss to the Vikes and just realize that the Vikes made one more big play than us. Instead of discrediting us, credit them.
I think we should blame the offense. We had a chance, TWICE, to run out the clock.

In those 6 plays they were all runs for a total of 2 yards? Sing and Raye can't be that

stubborn, if the run is not working throw the ball. Hill has trown one INT all year (that

INT is on Walker for giving up on the play) let him chuck it and win the game. By the

way loosers dwell on losses, winners learn from them and move on...MOVE ON!!

I'm not talkin about Jus that play from last sunday, IT'S EVERY GAME, watch him on the field, and it's a pass play i'll put money on it, that it's toward a spot where he should be covering.

You should pay attention more on what's going on while were on defense.
