Who would have thought before the season started, realistically, that this would be a win for us? I mean, when everyone was saying the wins and losses (expectations for the season) most people said that this was a loss.
Don't get me wrong. I'm pissed. Manny was 1/2 step from finishing the game. I'm pissed about the 3 runs when we could have done something else that was not too risky to get a damned first down.
But now the positive. We were 1 play away from beating the Vikings! I mean they are an NFC powerhouse! And we were right there!
Sorry, but I had to just pump myself up after a loss. I wanted this win so bad. I also have never been a big believer in Singletary or Hill, but man, they do what they do well. Singletary has everyone believing and Hill is true grit.
So all of my fellow Niner fans, chin up. One play away. 2 seconds. We will get them in the playoffs.

In this league, when you're given an opportunity to get a win, you have to snatch it.
With that said, we NOW have to go into the bye with a 4-1 record. That means beating the Rams and the Falcons. Thats the only way to get this sour taste out of our mouths......

Exactly can't get this win back no way you slice it, and it might come back to haunt them. Can't overlook the Rams or assume they are just gonna steamroll them. It's a week to week league. Are they home vs ATL? ATL seems to be much better at home than on the road.

It's been awhile since I hurt this bad. This one hurts so bad. Only because the team did so good through out the whole game. It was rough and not so pretty but they responded to go ahead at 24-20. In previous years we would have folded and faced a blowout. We took a step back but only because of a last second play. This team have improved tremenduosly. This game shows. If they continued to improved, we'll be good into the playoffs.
