Because Gore does not go down until he is hit by 5 guys.
He fights and fights and fights, he tries to resist going down and then they just TWIST him down to the ground.
He is constantly getting twisted to the ground in a pile of bodies.
Its just the way he plays.

Wasnt surprised that he went out the game. He was hobling at the end of the game against Seattle.
Hopefully we'll save him next week for the Rams cuz we'll need him for the Falcons game.

I would rest him until after our bye, we need him a 100 percent or close to it for most of it not all of the remaining games after the bye. Im pretty sure Sheets will be activated

Frank's a warrior! Do you really think he wasn't going to try and play that game? I'm sure he'd even go as far as to lie and tell the trainers he's 100% to go.

what is it with all these stupid threads on the zone? its football, the runningbacks get hit more than any other position. gore isnt the only back who gets injured. the more we run him the more chances he has of being injured, we run him a lot. it happens.

As long as it isn't the dreaded high ankle sprain, Gore should be back in a few weeks either way. If it is a high ankle sprain, he could be gone for most of the season
