Hurry UP - Two Minute Drill

Ok, sorry for being out so long, but I was having major login problems,
and thanks to the help of Mr. Bonilla, I'm BACK... Thanks again David....

Now for my Post.........

Every Team knows that we want to have a Power Running Team, and that
we want to pound the Rock, as witnessed during the Arizona Game, they
were well prepared, stacked the box and RUN/PASS Blitzed on Every Single
Down... The SeaChickens have film on this, and will exploit the same type
of Defense... Stack the Box - Run/Pass Blitz - and Force Shaun Hill into
mistakes....

Why don't we take them out of their Game.... TAKE THE GAME TO THEM...
We should Go Hurry Up Offense, No Huddle, Two Minute Drill... Dump the
ball off to Frank Gore like Arizona used Hightower, Quick Slants, and hit
the Tight Ends early and often, get back to the line of Scrimage and do it
over and over again... Wear down those Big Nose Tackles and Defensive
Ends, get their LB's running Sideline to Sideline and not let them catch their
collective Breaths for the entire first HALF and they will be there for the taking
for the second half of POWER FOOTBALL....

Two Reasons for this..... Wear down the Defense, and get Shaun in Rythym
early and often....

Keep the Chickens on their Heels, or what ever you call that little claw on the
back of a Chickens leg...

Glad to be Back

i think we excel when Hill goes into a hurry up offense, that's why he always shines in the 4th quarter.

that run run pass punt bulls**t isn't going to cut it, and I hope they've learned that from last week
A hurry up offense would wear our own defense down just as much as theirs.

We hardly ever went run run pass punt yesterday.

Edit: we only went run run pass (on 1st 2nd and 3rd downs) three times yesterday, out of 13 first downs.

Did you watch the game?

What do you mean.... How would US running the Hurry Up Offense Wear down
our Defense... You can have a Ball Controlled Offense while Running the Hurry
Up Offense... You just don't Huddle up Between Plays, But you make sure that
you get stopped in Bounds so the Clock still Runs... The Opponents Defense
doesn't get a chance to make substitutions, and we WEAR their Asses OUT... ;-)

Did you watch the Bills/Pats game? The Bills tried this very thing, and their defense ended up dog-tired by the end of the game.

It's pretty obvious - you take less time on offense, and your defense has less time to catch their breath.
And of the three times we went run, run, pass, we only punted once.

So only ONCE all game did we go run, run, pass, punt. Stop complaining about it.

PS... Plus, while running the Hurry UP... If they do try to make a Sub, you go
for Quick Snaps and try to catch 12 on the Field, Cheap Yardage but hey, Yards
are Yards, Penalties Add up, just ask Arizona about Penalties... WHATEVER it
Takes to get the UPPER HAND... I don't think Mora will be Prepared for Sing to
Go Hurry up...

Does anyone know someone on the Niner Staff.... Send out a Memo NOW...

Did you read the part About BALL CONTROL... Don't go out of Bounds... Clock
still Runs... Short Patterns... 5 yards a Pop... 10 Yards... 12-15 plays a drive,
and our DEFENSE IS FRESH.... Keep the Opponents GUESSING, and TIRED...
They'll never see it Coming...
Yes, 12-15 plays a drive is an excellent strategy. It's just like the "score more points than the other team" strategy. I don't know why more teams don't use it. You, sir, are an offensive genius.

Hmmmm, are you trying to be a Smart***, or were you just born this way????

Of course every team wants to have sustained drives... No Sh*t... But when
every team knows we want to POUND the Ball, and be a Power Running Team,
then Switch it up... Go Hurry Up, but be smart and Play Ball Control at the same
time... Keep the clock Running, Force the other team to use Time outs to make
Subs if they see something their not prepared for, it's just Smart Football...
No, it's not. You're more prone to mistakes, and your defense has less time to rest.

Especially for a team that goes 3-and-out as often as we do. If we go three-and-out but take 3 minutes to do so, that's a LOT better than going 3-and-out in just 1 minute.
