Man, this guy just flies. What an awesome signing seriously. As a 3-4 defensive end he is rarely over matched. And he cannot be stopped it seems. If he can stay at this pace our defense will only get better!
Also, I think Ray Mc really showed he is going to be huge for us! Gotta find ways for him to get on the field!

He is a Pro-Bowl caliber player.
Wait, correction, he PLAYS like a Pro-Bowl caliber player. I don't want to be accused of making predictions.
He is a hell of a player and was a perfect replacement for B.Y. when he retired.
A no-nonsense, does his job, gets pressure, in your face, blue collar, play-making and most importantly in this day and age, EARNS his paycheck, type of player.
He is the definition of "football player." An Avatar of the Gridiron.

Good to hear that Lawson contributed to the pass rush. How about Balmer, Sop, and Franklin?

sop and franklin actually had some pretty good stuffs. as for kb, he contributed on this play where he takes on two guys which enables justin smith to get around
. play to end the game. i thought for sure they were going to throw a flag on nedney because those refs were idiots today

It sounds like you are asking how did Sop and Franklin do pass rushing. Neither generally plays on passing downs so its a moot point. But against the run they both did fine.

Seriously I think the league doesn't take us seriously and gives us brand new refs to get their feet wet in the league

Balmer made some real nice run stuff plays.
He reminds me of Haralson after his rookie year. Raw, but oozing with ability.
Actually, I think Balmer was the one who forced two blockers on him on the outside, from which Smith was able to get his game winning sack through the middle. Edit: *And someone already said this above*

that head ref couldnt count the number of players on the field, he constantly said the wrong thing over the pa system...it was just downright terrible. at least this crew called all the offside penalties against the cardinals. i remember the monday night game, they were just rushing the a gaps before the ball was snapped each time

Last year, Justin had 8 sacks, but just missed on a bunch of other rushes. With McDonald and Balmer in there, they give us the best push. Haralson's on his way to double digit sacks...the key, though, is the front 3. I was totally jacked when Nolan signed Smith...and I'm even more impressed with him now. Dude is just as tough as nails and his motor never ever stops. With Ray Mac and Balmer helping out, he could reach double-digits, too, and when's the last time any of us remember two of our guys doing that.

Smith was a beast this game, but what was with that penalty of "unsportsman-like conduct", which allowed the Cards an extra shot at the endzone at the end of the half? That was dumb of him.
