I think the lack of creativity on offense and taking what is given. When teams are bringing more into the box and even anticipating a run run run offense I think play action would have opened up quite a few more things for the offense.
Fear and conservativeness also played a role at the end of the ball game. With Singletary trying to force a ball control offense and refusing to throw the ball did not generate one first down and forced the defense to win the game. Other than that, great game. Go Niners!!!

The biggest problem on offense is the Guards. For years the team has refused to pay free agent guards decent money and now it's catching up with us. Today was proof of that. Rachal is susposed to be a "mauler", but he got owned constantly. Baas wasn't any better either

And they refuse to draft Offensive lineman period which has shown to be disasterous. That is where you find good lineman. The Draft and usually first rounders.

Ya, and when we get decent OGs, we let them get away via free agency. Or move them to center (heitmann)

This just truly shows how much of a disaster Nolan was. Anyone been to the Denver message boards?? Any commentary on if they like the wonder coordinator over there in the mile high city?
He had no idea what the heck he was doing over here for 4 years. What a nightmare that was.

It's like giving a blind man tghe keys to a Ferrari. If he can't drive it, what's the point. Nolan was a nightmare because he had no Idea how to run the team or "coach"the team. It is't blind hate it is fact that he was way over his head.
Sing has already done a better job with said players in my opinion. From the practices to the disipline it has displayed itself on the field. If that's the case make Nolan a scout because he sure can't coach.
