Niners didn't cut him but they did let Ted Washington get away.
There's a difference between being cut and not being able to re-sign..

This was 94 and his fourth year in the league. Owens had nothing to do with his development. As I remember, he had injury issues while he was with us.

JP wasn't cut, either. People, come on now.
Harvey Dahl, one of our backup offensive linemen in 2006. Started 16 games for Atlanta last year.

Yeah I seen a deal the other day on NFL live about him being a young breakout player.
I believe the question was who have we "CUT" not what ex-Niners thrived elsewhere.

Ricky wasn't cut, he wasn't resigned. I don't believe Ronnie was actually cut either, but that was a long time ago.

McCaffery never made it tothe active roster? Really?

McCaffery was our 3rd or 4th receiver in 1994 before moving on to Denver when Shanny left, I believe. Here are his stats, he was with the Giants before us :

Year Team Games Rec Yards Y/R TDs
1991 NY Giants 16 16 146 9.1 0
1992 NY Giants 16 49 610 12.4 5
1993 NY Giants 16 27 335 12.4 2
1994 SF 49ers 16 11 131 11.9 2
1995 Denver Broncos 16 39 477 12.2 2
1996 Denver Broncos 15 48 553 11.5 7
1997 Denver Broncos 15 45 590 13.1 8
1998 Denver Broncos 15 64 1,053 16.5 10
1999 Denver Broncos 15 71 1,018 14.3 7
2000 Denver Broncos 16 101 1,317 13.0 9
2001 Denver Broncos 1 6 94 15.7 1
2002 Denver Broncos 16 69 903 13.1 2
2003 Denver Broncos 12 19 195 10.3 0
Career - 185 565 7422 13.1 55

how can you accumulate 131 receivingyards when you don't make the active roster? Oh, and he never played with TO

Watters wasn't cut he left in Free Ganecy as did Lott.

Garcia was cut for cap reasons and Bryant for his attitude. Bryant had a good year with Tampa and Garcia did well with Philly but was up and down in Tampa.
