Hardy Brown, with the 9ers in the 50s, would knock people out and break bones.

Ray Brown was a beast. Will always remember him and Googs as our Guards. They were really our first shift from the smaller quick lineman to the 320+ monster road graders!
Ray Brown was also a smart guy. I bet he could read and understand the point of this thread....

Marc Edwards, fullback on 1998 team. He broke like 3 tackles to get a 1st down on the final drive of the packers wild card game where T.O. made The Catch II.

Thank you Bobb McKittrick for helping turn late round draft picks into pro bowlers, you were a big part of the dynasty of 17 straight 10 win seasons, your accomplishments were over looked by many of the casual fans.

If he doesnt break his ankle against the falcons in the playoffs, we play the Broncos in the superbowl and get Championship number 6

Damn -- I hate it when I'm reminded of this. Number 1 rushing attack in the NFL, Steve Young at his peak, and one of the best defenses we ever had.
We were robbed!
Thank you, though, to the great Garrison Hearst!
