Will The 49ers Sign Micheal Crabtree This Year

Yes, $16 million will overcome any pride issues. If he doesn't sign, he is an idiot. And his agent will want his commission. Eugene Parker does not work for free!
Just saw this in the FoxSports game preview against Chargers:

News: According to Adam Schefter on Twitter, the Niners and top pick Michael Crabtree are not even close to signing a deal. [-]
Impact: Schefter stated that anyone waiting for Crabtree to sign will be "waiting for a long time. A real long time". This doesn't sound good and it may be time to dump Crabtree if you happened to draft him, thinking that he would sign before the season. (Fanball - Wed. Sep 2, 2009)

I doubt we will lose Cashtree to the draft, I don't think he's that stupid, but if we overpay him, I don't want him then, let him renter the draft and get payed $400K.
i still can't belive i bought this douch bags Jersy !

as talented as this guy MAY be... he sure is coming off as a money hungry, greedy diva like player. approximately 15-16 million in guaranteed money and the guy wants what DHB got, or more. I don't think i'd even want a guy like Crabtree on the 49ers.

If we could get a compensatory pick for next year in the 1st round, i say we take it in a heartbeat. I'm sure there will be plenty of talented players, if not more talented than Crabtree coming out next season that will be more than happy to sign a $20 mill contract.

Screw Crabtree. Now he looks like an idiot not only to the 49ers organization, but to the rest of the NFL. He's the only one left and he's got no more leverage.

True dat.
Is there any possible way to trade him?

how many crabtree threads do we need?! if he signs he signs if he doesnt he doesnt

Really? Is that how it works?

I personally would ideally like to get a mulligan (get out first round pick back, dump Cashtree); yet each day, the idea of just dropping, Crabtree begins to seem more and more appealing.

Don't give me that "when he scores touchdowns, it'll change talk", I was weary of his character when we signed him, and now he's looking like a downright cancer.

He seems to come from a family with a history of being wealthy, I could sense that all along when seeing those dumb ads with him and deion. Nvr really liked the guy, always had a bad feeling about him. who knows tilme will tell, hopefully im wrong....
yes. The Niners will bump the offer a little bit and he will accept it.

yea but itll cost you a lot of money. i heard parker wants jenna jameson money.
Hurry up folks. You've got about 148 more pages to go in beating the other Crabtree thread.

Maybe we ought to take odds on how many pages each will generate before he signs.
Crabtree will sign.

If he starts ripping the Niners in the media, I'll change my mind.
b***h ass craptree will sign
Unless the kid wants to do irreparable damage to his image he will sign, and as most wide outs are all about their image, I think it is just a matter of time.
