Yep, or I would have to eat some crow... I really thought he could be something, but his hands and his efforts are just not showing it this preseason...
He said in a recent interview that his legs were at only 75% due to the tough camp. Hopefully with the extended rest he should be getting, he can be 100% when the season begins.

We have 4 qBs on our roster. 1 is a shot putter, 1 throws wildly, 1 had a s**tty camp, and 1 is to "green" to throw into the fray.
As for blocking pick up, yes Keasey screwed up. There were also times that the line didn't block effectively. But......there were times the QBs held onto the ball too long.
Is this just pure dumb***t QB play or don't our receivers no how to get open.
If we are such a good rushing team, why don't we use the screen more often.
I think it's based on lack of QB/WR playing time together. Lack of effective play
calling. Lack of cohesion on O-line. Again though, I think basic vanilla is what you can expect from our coaching staff. Did the mid 80s Bears throw a lot of passes?
How about recent Kansas City offensive stats.
Sound like the old Big Ten, 3 yards and a cloud of dust for us this year.
Based that on what coaches like, and the fact that 2 of our 4 QBs are shot putters
(think Dilfers throwing technique and then watch Hill and Huard).

This!!
actually it is the pass protection and the play calling....for now at least.
We can't really judge the WRs or the QBs when the only opportunity we decide to pass, we f'up on a block assignment(s).
our OLine sucks big time and that needs to be fixed. How about instead of drafting 4 WR's in every draft we try and solidify some of our actual problem areas. Like say the OLine and pass rush!
With regard to the OL we are talking pass protection and blitz pick up right??? ------ because the run blocking has been fine.
Yes that is what I was referring to. None of the QB's on the team get any time to throw the ball. Did you see how much time Tony Homo had? I swear I saw him balancing his check book before he finally decided to throw the ball.

Let him play with Nate Davis aka a quarterback with an arm...then you'll see how good he is.

Yah cuz he has 75 percent Legs and not the full 100.
I hate when players put a percentage on it.

Our quarterbacks would make Calvin Johnson look like Brandon Lloyd.
We should have never gotten rid of Mike Martz.

No, those were nekkid photos of his ex. Notice how his team mates protected them.
There is only one QB that seems able to actually throw out to where the wide receivers are and get the ball close enough to them so they might catch it.
Last years's offense seemed to get the WRs open. Maybe the pre-season plain vanilla offense just doesn't indicate how they will do in the real games
Or, maybe with three good receiving tight ends the WRs are just going be decoys and Hill will throw one as long as he can out of bounds once in a while to pretend the offense is interested.

I have to agree with the lack of productivity from Josh, but also have to say SHAME ON THOSE WHO WANTED BATTLE GONE! He has been our most consistent receiver with Spurlock this offseason!

Morgan has been a dissapointment, but Jason Hill came on a bit last season and now he can barely get into a preseason game. What happened to all the depth at WR this year? Could singletary's training camp really do this to recievers?

Maybe it's because Jason Hill isn't any good. Apparently the coaching staff believes that. Or, maybe he is the "
thrilla for the vanilla" they have been hiding in pre-season.
