SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs. DALLAS COWBOYS GAMEDAY THREAD (PRESEASON)

What I am saying is that this is less about Hill and Davis, and more about the OL. Nobody is going to move the ball, or look good, if Ware and Spencer are parked in the backfield.

The harsh critique on Hill, I feel, is unfair.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. It's all about how good Davis' balls look.

They look so good you can swing from them.

I hate to say it but I think anybody who QB's the Niners this year is going to get pretty banged up.
That was a Nolan call... I hope Singletary doesen't become a tight, conservative coach all of a sudden. He was a little more risky last year when he was a interim coach and had no pressure on him.

Is Singletary channelling Nolan? Makes me wonder what Shanahan and Holmgren are up to.

Holmgren is garbage, Shanahan though, he's an offensive genious. No one does more with less than Shanahan.

At least Mike Martz attempted to throw the ball down the field.

crzy, I think they try to throw it down field but Hill's arm can't do that type of stuff. Need to keep it within 20 yards.

that's cute Method......same sh1t from you.....but tell me....did we throw it down field when Alex was in there.....did we throw it down field when Huard was in there.....did we throw it down field when Nate was in there?

I think Hill threw two deep passes against the Raiders...but that's all I've seen so far

Is this a football assessment, or a porn reference?

Someone please tell Raye to wipe that part of the playbook with his ass.

That was all Mike Martz

Singletary is the black Mike Nolan in terms of conservative coaching.

I hope so.. alex sucks and I dont expect a late round rookie to start
wow

we start to send 6 guys after the qb now?

Not when our starters were in!!!!

They are working a two minute offense. I thought it was agreed that no one would do that.

I think at least 4 quarterbacks will play this year. Due to incompetent QB play and shaky offensive line there is no way one QB is going to play the whole year.
Tyler Thigpen sounds good right about now.

A football assessment!

Anyway, it all depends on the quality of Davis' balls. We have yet to see deep balls though. Stay tuned.
Back to zero pass rush
