I just booked a trip today to San Fran for Dec 10-15th. I want to go to the Arizona monday night game and my question should I get the tickets now on-line or is it better to wait and get them at the stadium before the game? I want pretty good seats and I don't know how it works out there for availability of tickets before the game. I know for Dolphins game you can go to the stadium an hour or two before kickoff and get good tickets, pretty cheap but that doesen't work like that for Jets or Giants games.

You MUST tailgate since you have never been. Get there around 9 AM, hook up with the Webzone Tailgate party and they will take care of you.
Since you have never been to Candlestick you must see the parking lot scene. To put it into terms you will understand it is like a World Cup futbol match - festival like atmosphere. Rent the car, load up with beer, booze, food and get with the Webzone Tailgate. Or the club49.org tailgate, hell hit them both!!
Make sure to walk around the parking lot prior to game time and KNOW that it takes a long time to get into the stadium, so start making your way in at about noon. You will see crazy stuff and you will have a blast.
New Orleans does not have a tailgate scene (most NFL teams do not have stong ones). Candlestick does have a great one, so get there early and take it all in. Bring your camera too!!

What's your budget for the nice restaurant?
For Chinese, you cannot go wrong with the House of Nanking. Let the staff order for you.

Some thoughts -
Boulevard is my personal favorite and one of my favorite restaurants in the world.
Gary Danko (you'll have to sit at the bar w/o a reservation) is INSANELY good.
For Pan-Asian, Betelnut is great.
Michael Mina is world class but CRAZY spendy.
A16 has great Italian and the prices are not bad either.

Is it announced before the game who will be the national anthem singer and who will perfom in the halftime show?
If yes, where can this information for the Jax game be found?

It would be nice if someone going to that game gave the guy a ride (I mean, he did come all the way from Denmark, *I* (if I lived in SF) would reward that with a ride to tailgate and back, plus it would be nice to talk to someone from another country), what do you guys say, anyone going his way?

Go early with your car 9am latest, park towards the front around E pole, crack a nice cold beer in the morning and get ready.
Don't listen to the complainers about traffic and all that. IF you are a fan of the hard-core sort, you get there early, say all your hellos, or in your case meet folks let them know and I'm sure you will get the "homey" treatment, they gonna love you if you tell them you came so far.
Then after the game, RELAX, you came a long way, if you are not too hammered have a couple more beers and shoot the breeze. An hour later you can drive out the parking free and clear with out any whining about traffic etc.. Really, don't believe the neg hype.
If you are the kind of fan that wants to get in cheap without restraints use the public bus in an out. But you are coming a long way bro, take yer time and enjoy..
If we get a win, you may even see the fireworks people sometimes bring in the lot.. ahh the smell of Bar-B-Q in the morning!!!!!
NINERS!!

Don't get too drunk. I got wasted at the Thursday night game and because of the lack of leg room I fell forward and busted my Fing nose.
