Bill Ring was awesome. I also liked Ron Ferrari on special teams.

Always liked tyrone drakeford. Nothing flashy just liked em as a niner.
Honerable mention for the worse as we'll lawrence phillips
Drakeford game me many nightmares for his blown coverages against Dallas (Alvin Harper) and Green Bay (Brooks, Bebe, and co.) in those playoff losses.
I did always like Tim Mcdonald. He was a favorite of mine. Great pickup off the Tardinals.
Tim mcdonald was the man, him along wit merton hanks! Yeah tyrone wasn't probowl caliber but I woulda liked to have kept em as a nickle back. He did fairly well wit the saints I believe that's who got em, when he left.

Pretty much just played out of the league. You get to a point to where you are losing a step and there are younger, faster, and cheaper guys a team can keep.
