Honestly, if the niners were forced to leave the bay because of the stadium, I would keep my allegiance with the team no matter where they moved to. I find it hard to support a city that doesnt even support their biggest sports franchise.

I could not believe what I was reading. Who the hell newsome think he is? He wants to sue the niners to change their name? Why try to sabotage something especiallly since it doesn't cost your city anything. Oh wait, he wants to clean up hunter's point. HEY NEWSOME! you can do that without a stadium there!!!

As someone that also grew up with the Canadian game, I love the look of the new potential stadium. It actually has a traditional football feel. I don't like all of these state of the art designs that are being made now.

Nothing says football then a traditional outdoor stadium. I sat 4 hours in freezing rain last year at the Bills/49ers game and I have no complaints. It's football

Gavin Newsom kills me. He is a dirty politician and is lying. The part where he said that the 49ers keep on coming up with excuses....all of those he mentioned were out there from the very beginning. He hasn't done anything to try and convince the 49ers to stay...not one thing. He probably knows that a new stadium would fail to be passed by voters in SF, not worth his time.
