I think McCloughan said there looking at Taylor as a SS. Makes sense, there's no one backing up Lewis right now.

Also, MROB and Jennings will make the team
and Battle makes it for now.
under your chart we would have 1 backup tackle

You can't just throw anybody at longsnapper. That would be a disaster.
Brian Jennings is not going anywhere
He might be gone as he can only long snap and Jahi Word-Daniels can play corner and was a 3 year long snapper on both punts and Field Goals. So maybe the original poster was correct but had the wrong player replacing Jennings.

Exactly. If Clayton makes the team I will be shocked, shocked. M-Rob should also be worried. He is a one trick pony, special teams that's it. If he does stick around it's because he can also be the emergency backup FB and run the dreaded Wildcat.

Nice try, I know it's always hard to start these sorts of projections out and its not TOO bad of a V 1.0 but I see a fair amount that I do not agree with.
I find it hard to believe that 4 UFA (Long, Egboh, Jahi Word-Daniels and Boone) make the roster over proven vets like Arnez Battle, and Ulbrich and draft picks like Nate Davis and Rick Jean-Francois. I think Brian Jennings definetly makes the team.
I believe Pual Egbuh is more of a 3-4 DE. I'm not sure if Keasy qualifies for PS and think he might make the team as a versitile offensive player and special teams ace. I think MRob makes team over Michael Clayton, if only for his ST play.
Dominque Ziegler will have a tough time beating out Arnez Battle. I think we might only keep 9 OL and its iether Barry Sims or Alex Boone, with Boone being on the PS if not on the roster. I'd like to see Nate Davis beat out Damon Huard on the roster, and would not be too suprised if Nate Davis wouldn't be picked off waivers from enother team if we tried to put him on PS.
I agree we need a upgrade and/or depth at OLB. I think Mark Washington might finally make it off PS and take one of your UFAs spots.
