Fine, most of these players are trying to get contracts that they never earned. I am sure the guy wants to much money for being a scrub.

but then again, I know NOTHING about the dude.

agreed....Evans is trash...
he has not turned down an offer he is deciding between us and the redskins his decision will come at the end of the week

"He's back in Washington, D.C., deliberating," Rosenhaus said. "He had an awesome visit with the 49ers, so he's going to decide between the 49ers and going back to the Redskins. He should have a decision by the end of the week."

Where did it say that? I'm impressed with the ability of some of you to inject whatever you want into articles posted on this forum. All it said, was that he was going to go back home to DC and mull it over.
Honestly, who really cares? The guy was gonna be a backup at best anyway. If he wants big money to take up bench space and sip gatorade, than let the Skins give it to him. They seem to be good at that type of stuff.

holy crap....the 49ers have ZERO closing power on f/a's.

Brandon Jones it the only f/a to walk out of our building signed, and he was laughing til his sides hurt about how much money he got out of us. he probably ran out of niner HQ because it must have felt like he just robbed a bank.

Says nothing on Rotoworld about him turning down an offer, it just says he's considering offers and going to decide by friday. It also says that he may go back to the redskins because he would most likely start after the release of Jason Taylor and he would only be a rotational player with us. Big stinkin deal, if he wants to go back to the Skins to start, I wouldn't blame him one bit.

The 49ers offered free agent DL Demetric Evans a two-year deal, but he didn't sign and has left San Francisco.

Sounds like we offered him a contract and he didn't sign (hence turning it down)

Oh well, he wants a chance to be a starter which he probably would not be in San Fran, no biggie.
