You know, we still have some major holes to fill before we can think about even being in the top 10. Keep in mind, we still need to get TKO back before we can start upgrading over last years squad. If not TKO, then someone who can start next to Willis that isn't named ULBRICH.
After TED, we still need to address both FS/SS (we need better depth at SS), several OLBs to rush the passer (TBC was cut and Green could have some legal issues), and finally we need a NT.
That's alot of needs for a "Nasty" "Top 5" defense. I'm not saying we won't be good, but top 5 is a bit much.

I want to trust you, but I'd rather wait and see who we get in free agency. There are some quality guys availible, but I'm worried we won't target the right ones. IMO, we must land a quality FS that has ballhawk skills. We CANNOT draft a FS and wait around for him to develop.

I'm more for letting Goldson develop & getting rid of Roman. We need to address the pass rush more than anytihng.

K that's right I was under the impression we had resigned em last yr. But that was only like a 1 yr 1.2 or less deal if I remember right. Thanks for the info!

LAWSON, STEP UP! Will the really Vernon Davis please stand up. i want to see some int's this season! Willis or Lawson even Justin forcing a fumble, Harlson needs to show he's just as good if not better then Lawson in coverage, Lawson needs to show he can get to the qb if, justin and Harlson are coming from the other side with a few Willis plays, 10 tackles a game 5 sacks 4 int's 9 forced fumbles, Nate got sick trimmed down looks rusty but finish with 6 recovers for td's off fumbles, manny will block some kicks they will be taking for 7 rossum going to the house special teams number 1 in the nfl. Defense top 3. Willis,Justin,Franklin,Balmer,Manny,Harlson,Nate,Goldson,Tarrel Brown, Dr Dre, Issac better learn to be a nose Balmer could be are Furture B.Y. maybe more sacks, I think are dline could be stout.
