Manny's getting better. He's starting to learn how to hit the QB after he seems to have recovered from his ACL tear. I'm really happy for him.

I called the guy garbage....and I gotta admit I was wrong. I'm not sold on the guy as a pass rusher but he can make a play here and there. Hopefully he keeps it up and gets better. GO NINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 sacks in his last 6 games...pretty good. Lets see if he can keep this up as we're definitely gonna need it. It's gonna be hard to sack Hasselbeck though...esp with that quick release WCO they run.

I love Manny, never once doubted him, he just isn't that dominant pass rusher we wanted him to be. But he that doesn't mean Lawson isn't a solid starter for us.

Completely agree with that & our corners need to play up on the recievers, not 8 yards off before the snap.

You gotta be kidding me. Manny Lawson getting a sack in a game inwhich we sacked their QB 6 times in one half is like Mark Roman getting a pick in a 5 INT game: if they don't join the party then there is something seriously wrong with them.

Hate to say it, because he seems like a nice guy, but unless some super genius coach could figure out a specific role for him and plug into a custom scheme, I think he'll always just be a JAG. He's not that big, not that quick, not that determined. Purely a JAG.

That was probably the first time Lawson actually beat an OT with a pass rush move. All of the other times his sacks were coverage sacks.

i dunno but it seemed like he was one of the first to get that sack party going. he also had that huge strip that stopped them in the red zone if i recall (or was that haralson)
