Could he spill niner secrets for week 1? He did face Kaep in practice all the time.

Two things:

1. Wasn't Spillman the one who helped stop Ray Rice from scoring a rushing TD in Harbaugh Bowl 1? I'm pretty sure it was him, and that allowed us to keep that 0 rush TD streak alive until late in the 2011 season.

2. I was outside the practice gate last year before the Panthers game. Nearly all of the players were in coupes, SUVs, etc coming out. Spillman came out with some loud old school convertible muscle (I think Olds 442), and didn't seem fazed by the fans.

CJ tweeted he wanted to play madden last year and i was able to play a game against him. mic'd up and everything. was very very cool.
